Week 5

We have been enjoying this amazing weather, taking walks around the neighborhood and potting plants on the deck. Liam loves to be outside just like his mom and dad. As he is apprioaching 6 weeks, he is holding his head up for longer periods and is getting very strong! He is dishing out smiles and cooing, every day is something new and it is beautiful to watch him grow and change. His Nana Hoodie got him a fun activity mat that he has been enjoying. We hope to have a farm some day, so we thought that the farm theme was appropriate for him to learn about all of the animals. Hope everyone has had a good week! Liam's First Party

Sunday was an amazing day, I love spring time in these mountains. Will and I took advantage of it and loaded up Liam and Jake and headed out for a picnic down by the ole French Broad River. Will caught a fish or two and we soaked up some sun and breezes. In the early evening we took Liam to the birthday party for our friend Jenny and he was the hit with the ladies! Here he is chilling with two hotties, birthday girl Jenny and Karen. It is so nice to be able to get out and see our friends and take our son with us. I look forward to watching him grow up with so many loving and fun people in his life!

I suppose it has been a bit obvious that Will is back to work since there haven't been daily posts. I hope to get a little better at it, but sometimes balancing a 5 week old and a camera just doesn't work! Not to mention the time to sit at the computer and post. 6 Day's Since Last Update

Wow, has it really been that long? Liam is starting to get strong and hold his own head up some. Sleeps a lot better through the night now, but I am not getting used to anything yet! Just going to go with the flow! Work has been crazy but crazy is good. Seems like more people are starting to build, add on, and renovate their houses right now. Seeing a lot more plans roll through the store. Must be spring time! The weather this weekend has been ideal. Going to go over to Jenny Lanes tomorrow for her thirtieth birthday party, should be awesome!! It will be Liam's first party! Well, hope that everyone is doing well. Promise we will keep posting. Liam is 4 weeks old!

Finally was able to snag a photo of my mom, Nana Hoodie, with her first grandchild!It warms my heart to see how he makes her smile. We had dinner with the family on my folk's deck last night. Skip's grandson, Jon, is in town on spring break and we gathered with cousins Darren, Marissa and Molly as well as Skip's brother Lowell and his wife Sally. Sunday Visitors

It's Easter Sunday and Will had a hall pass to go muskie fishing today, so Liam and I chilled out and had a wonderful visit with our dear friends Lindsay and Shannon Livengood. They stopped by this morning with breakfast and we were able to chat and relax on the deck in the beautiful spring sunshine! It was so great to see them, we sure have missed them since they moved to Atlanta. Hope everyone enjoyed this amazing weekend! Happy Spring to all!

It's been three days!

Wow how three days can just run right together. Works been pretty steady and still finding time to get home a little early. This helps Kelly get a little more time to relax and rest. Its been pretty amazing the gifts we still have been receiving. Thanks again Kathy Kassada for the out fit and baby book, and also all the solid advice along the way. Also Will Corn, one of my old college buddies, sent an awesome handmade blanket, hand made in Cleveland county. Thanks Corn its awesome. Well had to end up putting Liam down this evening then sat down to do this post. Was cooking out with Brad and Kelly and myself when Kelly could not get him to calm down. I could tell that Kelly would need some rest, so I took him and made her rest. They are both sleeping. Thanks everyone for everything. It has been amazing. Enjoy the beautiful weather.
