4 months

I have not been quick with the camera or posts lately! Liam has been keeping me busy these days. He is rolling over, smiling a TON, beginning to show signs of giggling (which I feel will be a full deep laugh very soon). He discovered his toes, and then the next week how to get them to his mouth. He is working on some teeth somewhere deep in his gums...which is setting off drool bombs (as seen below) and lots of mouthing but not too much fussing...yet. Overall, the Rice's are wonderful and happy and healthy. Hope all of you are as well!

Happy Father's Day

Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! We took Liam to a family wedding on a farm in Madison County on Saturday, and we had a blast! He was so well behaved the whole day, even sacking out for a nap right in the middle of the meal and toast (more like a roast)! Will seemed to have a good first Father's Day, I cooked him breakfast and we visited with close friends and family. Hard to believe that Liam is 15 weeks tomorrow! He is growing and changing so fast, learning to do new things everyday. Today my mom heard him giggle for the first time, which was priceless. Will got a Flip video cam for Father's Day, so we will be posting videos soon with some of these "firsts" for Liam. Happy Summer to all! Love....Kelly, Will and Liam

3 months

It's hard to believe that Liam is 3 months old! He has been rolling over from his tummy to his back and working hard on going from his back to tummy. He is super strong! Holding his head up, putting weight on his feet....the kid is ready to walk! He was active in the belly, and that must have been a sign that he is going to be an active little guy in the outside world as well. We are having a blast laughing at his coos, gurgles and babbles and waking up to his sweet smiles. Hope everyone is enjoying the last few days of Spring! Love to all, Will, Kelly and Liam

Catching Up

Sunset over Morgan Creek, I.O.P.

Love those smiles!

Liam had his 2 month check up on May 10 and came away with a spotless report card once again. 13 pounds, 24 inches...the boy is growing like a weed! We just got home from a week at the beach, Isle of Palms, SC. Our first family vacation was awesome. Liam slept all the way to Orangeburg on the way down. Stopped for a quick meal and then he was back asleep until we reached the house. We enjoyed taking rides on the golf cart (Liam strapped to mom in the baby carrier) walks on the beach, strolls through the neighborhood, visits with college friends, haning out on the dock, and of course plenty of fishing for Will. Liam was such a good guy, allowing us a peaceful dinner out one night (slept through it) and was overall just amazing. On the ride home, he slept the entire 4 hours and didn't make a peep until the airport exit. With a quick rub on the head and a pacifier in the mouth, he went back to sleep until we reached Valley Lane. We are all happy to be home, thankful to have had the time and house to vacation and look forward to the next trip to the land of deliciuous salt air and seafood. Here are some pics from our time away. Hope everyone is enjoying the month of May! Love, Will, Liam and Kelly

Don't bother me, I'm on vacation.

Easy Like Sunday Mornin'

We woke up to a happy little guy today! It seems to be the norm lately, nothing but smiles (as long as he has a full belly and dry bum). Liam is such a content babe, already independent and very expressive. Here are a few good smiles we captured this morning after finally pulling ourselves out of bed.

And a few more random shots over the last week....
