5 months

Liam is a week shy of 5 months! It is so hard to believe how fast time is moving. I found a video of him when he was 1 day old, he was so tiny, and I remember being instantly in love with him and his little noises (I tried to poat it but failed). Today his noises are MUCH louder, we have quite a monkey in our house! He is so entertaining...eating his fingers and toes, as well as rice cereal. This month we move on to veggies, and I am looking forward to the faces that will follow each new taste. He is a champ at rolling over in both directions and tries very hard to sit up. He is ready to be on the move and gets frustrated when all he can do is lay on his back or tummy. I have a feeling he will be sitting up by the end of the month for sure. We took a trip to the beach and had about 5 days to relax. Liam got to meet some new friends and have his first swim in a pool. We attempted the beach, but there were many jellyfish in the water, and I didn't chance it...although we did get the toes in. Back on home turf we have had fun swimming with Karo and Nash, cook outs with our families, topped off with his first trip to Mt. Mitchell! Here are some photos of the last few weeks.
